Online applications - Closed
You will be asked to provide your contact information, education and work background, resume, cover letter and other documents to support your application. Please read the instructions carefully before you apply. You are required to complete all fields to be considered for the next stage.
You will be required to upload your resume and an academic transcript with your application - it is preferable this is in a PDF format. A cover letter is optional and can be addressed to 'The Graduate Manager'.
Online Psychometric Testing - April 2017
Once shortlisted to the next stage, you will be asked to complete a short online psychometric test that will test your cognitive abilities (e.g., logical reasoning, verbal and numerical skills and problem solving). These tests provide an indication of the applicant's potential to use mental processes to solve work-related problems to acquire new job knowledge.
There is no real way of preparing for these assessments. When you are in the process of completing the test, ensure you are in a quiet place where you can concentrate and your internet connection is reliable. You can Google practice tests to get an idea of what to expect.
Video Interview - April 2017
The online recorded video allows you to answer a few initial interview questions via video. We get to learn a bit more about you and it’s convenient for you to complete at a time that suits you and in the comfort of your own home.
Assessment Centre (Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement and Retail Operations stream only) - May 2017 / June 2017
The Woolworths assessment centre is a two-way process. We'll give you insight into our business and culture while you participate in fun, interactive activities. Assessment Centres are a comprehensive evaluation approach that allows you to demonstrate your skills in a number of different situations which helps us understand how you might operate in a work environment. The location of the Assessment Centre will be confirmed at a later date.
There is no real way of preparing for the assessment centre; your experiences to date will prepare you for the activities. We advise you to participate as much as you can in the activities, be yourself and show us who you really are, ask questions and have fun.
Panel Interview (All streams) - May 2017 / June 2017
The final stage is the interview stage. You will meet individually with a panel of 2-4 managers to demonstrate your skills, job fit and past performance. It's also a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have.
